Big Brew Day is where the ALES Club borrows equipment/space from a local brewery to make a ‘big’ high gravity beer. Carboys of the beer are then sold to ALES Members to customize as you see fit.
Cost will be determined once the winning style is announced in early 2024. We will sample the beers in Fall 2024.

Brewing is a science…and homebrewers know the importance of careful calculations!

ABV (alcohol by volume) varies across beer styles. Some people strive for a high ABV & others prefer a lower ABV.

We will be exploring HIGH OCTANE beers at the upcoming meeting. Everyone is invited to share their homebrew samples, stories, knowledge & techniques at our Wednesday, December 6 meeting at 7 PM in the Bushwakker Clubroom.

You’re invited to bring your homebrew for everyone to share. We will do our best to give you some constructive feedback. Just make sure to bring enough for everyone: one growler, three bombers, or six standard bottles.
